My FASTer Way Story

I have been pretty active my entire life.  And while I have enjoyed being active, it has come at a cost.  At forty-some years old ;-), my body just isn't keeping up with what my mind thinks it should be able to do.  I have had several physical struggles over the last several years, with a shoulder reconstruction in 2016, and a total knee replacement in 2018.  Due to these challenges, I wasn't able to out-train a bad diet as well as I had been able to up to that point.  I knew something had to change.  I heard about the FASTer Way from a long-time friend of mine, but I wasn't sold.  It sounded way too difficult and way too scary.  Fasting?  Eating carbs??  These two concepts were against everything I had ever known...  "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day."  "Carbs are bad."  How could this be an effective program??  So I tried yet another program early summer 2018.  To no avail.  I finally gave in and signed up for the FASTer Way to Fat Loss® in August.

It didn't take long for me to realize that everything I was scared of, was just mental self-doubt and excuses.  It didn't take long for me to feel better and sleep better.  And although visual changes didn't come overnight like I willed them to, they did come.  And they were significant.  And the crazy part was, I had real visual noticeable results, without working out even ONE TIME.  I would have loved to incorporated the workouts in the program, but I was physically unable.  And still saw amazing results.  THAT is the power of this program.  The power of knowing what to eat and when to eat it.

As I fell in love with this program, I knew it just wasn't fair to keep it to myself.  As a group fitness instructor for more than twenty years, I have been able to help people with their physical wellness.  Or at least that is the theory.  The thing is, I didn't feel like I was really helping anyone!  I just watched people work their tails off, often times for little to no results.  I knew this program was the way to really helping people make an impact on their health.  I could finally make significant strides toward what I had set out to do all those years ago when I became a group fitness instructor.  So I became a FASTer Way coach in December of 2018, and here I am now.  Ready to help YOU with your physical wellness, so you can become the absolute best version of yourself, so you too can fulfill your life with energy and purpose!

Fats:  Avocados, olives, mixed nuts, TesseMae's Habanero Ranch, bacon

Proteins:  Meat, eggs, peanut butter, Nick's Sticks

Carbs:  Rice, potatoes, beans, fruit (bananas, grapefruits)

My favorite workouts:


Running, lifting, crossfit, and playing pretty much any sport.
